The traditional planning playbook was thrown out the window: instead of corridors, we interconnected pavilions with seamless indoor and outdoor spaces that highlight the sweeping views over the valley and celebrate the healing power of nature. Intimacy, privacy, and personalization are the touchstones of the timeless wellness experience that permeates the entire property.
A similar sensibility shaped the deliberately streamlined menu, at a time when ‘more is more’ typified the traditional approach to menu design. In place of redundant offerings with generic product pairings that had a minimal sense of place, we highlighted distinctive and layered treatment rituals using locally sourced ingredients that unleash the pleasure of well-being.
