Involved in the initial stage of the project as the site plan was taking shape, the first order of business was to create an interim wellness offering that created a distinctive hook to set the tone for the upcoming clubhouse while driving the sales effort for the residential units. The result was K-Fit: an outdoor fitness concept that anticipated the rise of functional movement and high-intensity training. Originally intended as a temporary solution, it remains an essential fixture to a world-class fitness experience.
Later setting our sights on the sprawling clubhouse that serves as the anchor to the surrounding private residential community, active adventure, and sporting pursuits are the cornerstone of daily life, and wellness takes center stage.
Indoors yet open to the elements, extensive cardio and strength zone, and movement studio encourage members to achieve optimal physical performance and excel in their chosen sports and adventures.
Private spa sessions happen in equally special surroundings: freestanding treatment hales with outdoor showers and soaking gardens. Exclusive service offerings take direct cues from the philosophy and teachings of native Hawaiian healers, using local remedies sourced from land and sea.
The spa is equally intentional and evocative of its ocean setting, harnessing the natural benefits that come with the rugged landscape and the restorative climate of the Kona coast. Extensive communal amenities include steam rooms, saunas, hot/cold soaking pools, a relaxation garden, and a yoga lawn.
